Our founder Hayrettin Atmaca came to Istanbul from the land he was born in 1979 and laid the foundations of Atmaca Electronics with a small shop in Tahtakale Pir Han.

Hayrettin Atmaca, who succeeded in creating his own brand thanks to his foresighted goals and itch for growth, visited many countries and factories and started to bring a Walkman to our country during a business trip abroad in 1988, laying the foundations of the Sunny brand, which is now one of Turkey’s leading electronic brands.

With Walkman, the Sunny brand entered our homes and quickly became a popular brand among young people. This story, which started with the Walkman, has grown over time with its wide range of products such as stereos, radio tapes, and satellite receivers, and the Sunny brand has begun to be seen almost everywhere in Turkey.

Aiming to improve its position in the television and satellite receiver sector in Turkey and to contribute to the national economy in foreign markets, Atmaca Electronics has accomplished in becoming one of the largest electronics companies in both Turkey and Europe in terms of production capacity with the establishment of a modern production facility of 110,000 square meters in Istanbul in 2004.
